A student hits a consistent pull-hook. The tempting fix is a swing-path drill, but the starting line and curvature together point to a face problem relative to both target and path. Diagnose before prescribing.
Scenario: an adult student, playing two years, says 'everything goes hard left.' You watch five shots: each starts well left of the target and curves further left. A plausible mistake here is to reach for an out-to-in path fix because pull-hooks are loosely associated with over-the-top swings in general teaching.
